 Welcome to Horsemanship Portugal and thank you for your interest! “We at Horsemanship Portugal set our goal to help people and horses to develop amenable relationships based on mutual understanding, respect, communication, and trust. We believe that the knowledge of the horses’ nature, behavior patterns and language system will help people to overcome both: their fear of horses and the use of force or violence.” Horsemanship Portugal resides on the beautiful west coast of Portugal. Our objective and focus is to help enhancing the relations between humans and horses, based on communication and trust – in absence of force or violence! It doesn’t matter if you are an experienced rider or if you know horses only from watching them far away in awe; our learning center offers something for everybody – check it out yourself! You will learn how to establish this bond of communication and trust with your horse by using Join-Up© from certified Monty Roberts instructor Anna Kerckhoff de Sacchi - one of currently 15 certified instructors worldwide. Anna learned from Monty Roberts himself and her main goal is to share the knowledge she received so generously to spread these gentle, trust-based methods. The result is a willing partnership in which the horse’s performance can flourish to its full potential, rather than exist within the boundaries of obedience. We offer a variety of courses. These courses provide you with an opportunity to build a trust-based relationship with your horse. Whichever program you choose, you can be certain that this training will open your eyes to a whole new perspective on your horse’s methods of communication and behavior. We trust that you will return home with a better understanding of your equine companion. |
